Request a CPTED Assessment
Critical Intervention Services has conducted hundreds of crime prevention through environmental design assessments on multifamily residential properties across Florida since the passage of HB 837 in 2023. Our assessments are performed by designated Florida CPTED Practitioners (FCP) credentialed through the Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute, and our team includes practitioners holding the Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designations through ASIS International.
Each assessment encompasses a systematic evaluation of the property's physical environment against the requirements of F.S. 768.0706 and established CPTED principles - including natural surveillance conditions, access control measures, lighting adequacy (verified with calibrated, NIST-certified light meters), camera system coverage at designated points of entry and exit, dwelling unit hardware, and conditions contributing to physical disorder. Our reports are prepared with consideration to format, clarity, and defensibility in anticipation of potential litigation, and each report undergoes a multi-staged review process prior to delivery.
If you are a property owner, management company, or legal counsel seeking a CPTED assessment for a Florida multifamily property, contact us to discuss your compliance needs. There is no charge for an initial consultation.
